After a leisurely breakfast, your driver-guide reports to your hotel for start of the safari, with a 7.30am
departure for a picturesque drive descending the Great Rift Valley and onwards to Masai Mara, Kenya's
famous game reserve. Stop briefly enroute at the Great Rift Valley view point to enjoy the stunning
views of an enormous valley system said to be visible from the outer space. Arrive in Maasai Mara in
time for lunch. After lunch we will have an afternoon game drive which will allow spotting of the
magnificent wildlife in the park. The reserve is known for providing excellent predator sightings thanks
to its relatively large population of lions, cheetahs and leopards. Bordering Tanzania, the Mara is in the
northern extension of Serengeti and forms a wildlife corridor between the two countries. Dinner and
overnight will be at the camp.
Accommodation: Miti Mingi Eco Camp
Meals & Drinks: Lunch, dinner & drinking water (Other drinks not included)
This will be a day of unlimited game drives for you. One in the morning before breakfast and the other in
the late afternoon. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals as
they are most active. This is the time that the big cats are most active and can provide some of the most
dramatic photography, thanks to the beautiful lighting. Although it might be tempting to stay in bed and
wait until the afternoon to explore, I promise you this is a game drive you don't want to miss. Explore the
depth and breadth of this famous park as much as you wish.
Reliable rains and plentiful vegetation underpin this extraordinary ecosystem and the millions of
herbivores it supports. Wildebeest, zebras, impalas, elephants, Masai giraffes and several species of
gazelle all call the Mara home. This vast concentration of game accounts for high predator numbers,
including cheetahs, leopards and a higher lion density. You will go in search of the Big Five with game
drives across the grassy plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Your will have an opportunity to drive down to the Mara River, site of the Great Migration when in
season – July through October. The immense herds of wildebeest and zebra are a magnificent sight,
matched only by the drama of the predators who lie in wait for them. At the river, we’ll see hippos but
also camouflaged in their natural habitat we’ll spot the many crocodiles awaiting the wildlife traversing
the river. This is a spectacle that has played out for millennia.
To bring more texture to your experience at the Mara, you may want to take advantage of several optional
events we offer at an extra cost. Experience a visit to the local Maasai people in their nearby village. Meet
these indigenous people and see up close their ancient lifestyle and culture. Want an unforgettable sight?
Take a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride high above the reserve as the morning light breaks across the golden
savannah and witness the herds of wildlife emerging into the day. Your driver/guide can arrange either of
these optional excursions.
Accommodation: Miti Mingi Eco Camp
Meals & Drinks: All meals included, drinking water (Other drinks not included)
After breakfast depart from the Mara through the Maasai plains and the Mau escarpments into the floor of
the Rift valley. Arrive in the flamingo fringed Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch and afternoon
game drive. We will embark on a comprehensive game drive of this scenic park including visits to
viewpoints which offer superb photo opportunities. Lake Nakuru is one of several Rift Valley lakes and
its ecosystem supports a wide ecological diversity with Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water
birds being the major attractions of the area. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of
mammals including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450
species.

Conclude your stay in Nakuru with a shorter early morning game drive followed by breakfast. Your
Safari now takes you to Lake Naivasha, a fresh water lake which is a popular tourist spot in Kenya.
Arrive in time for lunch. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. You may also choose to book a one hour
Lake Boat Safari at extra cost during which you get to see some of the lake's wildlife such as hippos as
well as enjoy the picturesque views of the lake and surrounding highland landscapes.
Later, we can visit Crescent Island. This is a private Island on Lake Naivasha that rose to fame after the
1985 movie “Out of Africa” that showcased the beautiful nature of Lake Naivasha and its surrounding.
The Island is found within the Great Rift Valley on the eastern side of Lake Naivasha. It is home to a
number of bird species that roam around between the lake and the Island. The Island is also home to a
number of wildlife that includes zebras, giraffes, and waterbucks.

Kilimanjaro, the tallest mountain in Africa, Amboseli National Park is one of the most popular parks in
Kenya. One of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up-close. On a clear evening you
