On arrival you will be picked by our representative from the airport for a transfer to a city hotel. Note that
airport pickup and drop off on the last day is covered in the tour package.

After breakfast, your driver guide will pick you from the city hotel. You will then depart for a scenic
drive to Samburu National Reserve, via the central highlands of Kenya with views of coffee, tea, sisal,
pineapple and subsistence farming activities. You will arrive in the dramatic semi-arid scrubland of the
Northern Frontier in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the park.
Samburu is fiercely beautiful with its arid savannahs watered by the lovely Ewaso Nyiro River. It is home
to species only found north of the equator, from the reticulated giraffe to Grevy’s zebras, gerenuk, Beisa
oryxes and a host of the big game including elephant and lion. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp

Prepare yourself for an amazing region along the Ewaso Nyiro River, Samburu. This reserve is famous
for its truly wild semi-arid landscape and the large concentration of wildlife. Samburu is popular for
hosting the rare Northern Kenya animal species (Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx
and Somali Ostrich) which are not found in other popular parks and reserves in Kenya. It is also home to
all the African big cats (lion, cheetah and leopard), alongside other big game including elephants,
buffaloes, warthogs, hippos, impalas, waterbucks and many others. This reserve is also a renowned bird
watching haven, with hundreds of bird species residing here. The unique culture of the Samburu tribe who
live in the region is the icing to cake for the amazing Samburu National Reserve. You will spend your
morning game viewing which commences morning after breakfast when the animals are most active. Get
ready for photo shooting and coverage as your game spotter leads you in search of the animals and you’ll
have plenty of opportunities to photograph your sightings. Retire to the lodge for lunch and relax. In the
evening, go forth on additional game viewing

Early morning game and scenery viewing drive after breakfast as you exit the Samburu. There shall be a
stop at the Thompson falls at Nyahururu. Proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park, a birdlife heaven, at
the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Lake Nakuru is known for hosting some endangered but beautiful
species. You’re sure to see rare Rothschild’s Giraffe along with white rhino, especially along the
lakeshore. The park is also sanctuary to one of Kenya’s largest populations of black rhino. Arrival will be
in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon you will embark on a game drive before going back to the
lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Depart Lake Nakuru after breakfast and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley with scenic views
of both Lake Elementaita and Lake Naivasha en route, which are in the Great Riftvalley from afar on the
main highway to Masai Mara Game Reserve. Arrive Masai Mara game reserve in time for lunch. You’ll
have an afternoon game drive which will introduce you to this vast game filled reserve. Dinner and
overnight will be at the camp.

Enjoy a full day in the phenomenal Masai Mara. One of the most iconic wildlife regions in Africa. You’ll
have excellent opportunities to spot some of Africa's most notable species such as lions, elephants,
giraffes, leopards, cheetahs and many more.
We can also arrange for a stunning hot air balloon safari over the Masai Mara at an extra cost. Just ask
us our friendly guide about these fantastic extras, to add some truly intimate touches to your Kenya safari
experience. To get some of the best game viewing of the day, an early start is needed to beat the heat of
the sun. This is the time that the big cats are most active and can provide some of the most dramatic
photography, thanks to the beautiful lighting. Dinner and overnight will be at the camp.
At the break of dawn, embark on your concluding game drive followed by a leisurely breakfast. Check
out and depart for Nairobi .Onward drop off transfer to the JKIA international airport for your flight home
or drop off at your overnight hotel. We hope you'll be leaving with some magic memories and special
stories from your time in Kenya. Safe travels!
